Growing up in an abusive home limited my ability to communicate effectively, regulate my emotions, create personal boundaries, and more. Learning how to open up, be vulnerable, and connect with others on a deeper level has been an ongoing journey.

For me, life is about learning and growing. Here, I like to share personal lessons I have learned about relationships, boundaries, and communication. I can only meet you where I am, but I hope my words help you beautifully.

Life is so short, and while we can not avoid pain, we have far more control than we allow ourselves to believe. I want to help others find their voice, whether that be through writing, speaking, or just learning how to set up their personal boundaries.

She’s Done Pretending….
